Bubble Bomber
This is a bomb game dressed up as a bubble game: you drop a pop-bubble, it counts down a short fuse, then bursts outward in a cross that clears blocks and blobs — and you, if you're still standing in it. The whole game is that trade-off, run over and over across three levels: place the bomb close enough to hit something, but far enough that you can outrun it.
Controls
- Move with the arrow keys, WASD, or the on-screen D-pad on touch devices.
- Press Space (or tap the bubble button) to drop a pop-bubble where you're standing.
- Clearing soft blocks sometimes drops a power-up — grab it to place an extra bubble at once, or blast a wider cross.
Getting through all three levels
Level one gives plenty of open space to retreat after a drop. By level three, blocks are packed tighter and there are more blobs to pop, so the same retreat path that worked before might now run straight into a wall. Planning your escape route before you drop the bubble, not after, is the skill the later levels are actually testing.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the explosion actually work?
Every pop-bubble has a short fuse before it bursts outward in a cross shape — up, down, left, and right from where you dropped it. Anything standing in that cross when it goes off, including you, gets caught.
How many levels does Bubble Bomber have?
Three, each adding more blobs and tighter block layouts than the last.
What do the power-ups do?
They either let you place an extra bubble at once or widen the blast range of every bubble you drop — both speed up clearing the level, but also make it easier to trap yourself.
